We recently met a young couple who are planning on using our wedding photography services at the end of August 2009. The wedding seems very unique and highly personalized and should be great fun to photograph. We will spend the whole day (and night) with them capturing the atmosphere. Wessexweddings.co.uk love to take photographs that capture the moment/ atmosphere so this seems to be an ideal match up. The couple sent out e-mails to nineteen wedding photographers in the Dorset/ Somerset region and they chose to use our services. We were very pleased to be chosen, especially as it promises to be a special day in many ways. The wedding grounds will be in the countryside next to large lakes and the reception will be in large tipis. There will be a bonfire and fireworks in the evening and a couple of bands have been booked and entertainment should go on until 5 am, and we’ve been invited to camp overnight. We like to provide wedding photography with a difference and this “Big Day” has all the potential to be very different, but special to all those involved.
There does seem to be an increase in the number of weddings were the bride and groom are adding more individuality to the days proceedings. There have been an increase in the number of alternative / green/ eco-friendly weddings taking place and this is welcome from us at www.wessexweddings.co.uk as we always like to shoot informal reportage wedding photography and enjoy adding a touch of humour, and quirky images and unusual shots but ONLY if that’s what the client wants.

Recently received another e-mail from one of our clients mentioning that “we highly recommend Wessex Weddings and we have recommended your wedding photography to all our friends in Somerset and Dorset”.
Another client this time from Wiltshire, and getting married in the summer of 2009, wrote”…thanks ever so much for undstanding guys! i have shown some of my other friends who are getting married some of your samples so perhaps you may have a few in the near future as they thought they were stunning!” The brides father is a wedding photographer, but we will do the wedding photography as he’ll be a little bit busy on the Big Day!
